The Crypt

One of my family’s favorite pastimes
is found at the very bottom of Saint
Martin-In-The-Fields Church at
Trafalgar Square across the street
from the National Gallery.

This Crypt has been restored (all
bodies removed) into an enchanting
underground cafe, shop, and rubbing
centre. The London Brass Rubbing
centre holds many memories for me
and my family. We have spent hours
after hours perfecting this skill in the
freezing cold and swealtering heat
(their is no air control down there.)

We have kept many of our rubbings
for our own walls but have found them to be excellent presents for friends and family as well.
